Theodore W. Popely

A distinguished member of the Alaska Bar, and a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of Arizona College of Law in 1994, Ted Popely has received numerous awards and honors for his achievements as an attorney. He is an accredited author with the Arizona Law Review and has been admitted to practice before the Alaska Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court, and the United States Supreme Court.

Ted Popely is an attorney and Alaska government relations professional with decades of experience advising clients on legislative strategy, regulatory affairs, and public policy matters before the Alaska Legislature and executive branch agencies.

From 1995-2007, Ted served as Chief Legal Counsel for the Alaska Legislature, where he advised and counseled leading legislators, Administration officials and staff. He served as committee counsel, carrying specific legislation, and working regularly with top state and federal officials.

Ted has practiced in the private sector as a civil litigator, and served as a law clerk before the Honorable Judge Elaine Andrews. Having forged strong relationships with key officials throughout Alaska and at the federal level, his professional and personal ties within local, state and federal governments serve as a tremendous resource in pursuit of his clients’ goals.
